4. FACULTY AND SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENT

4.1

At least two (2) full time faculty members holding PhD degrees in the relevant field shall be available/appointed in the department to launch a MS/MPhil program.

4.2

The minimum appointment tenure for full-time faculty members must not be less than the duration of the intended degree program.

4.3

The teacher to student ratio shall be 1:12, where a supervisor can supervise a total of twelve (12) MS/MPhil/PhD students at a time with no more than five (5) of these students being PhD students. Graduate teaching and supervision load shall be adjusted, accordingly.
